Ever opened a 40-page report five minutes before a meeting? My AI Side Summarizer (AISS) reads the PDF or Word document for you and hands back a clear, structured summary — key points, not filler — so you can walk in prepared instead of skimming in a panic.
Drop in a file (or share it straight from WhatsApp or Gmail), and AISS sends it to Google's Gemini model to generate the summary. That's the whole trick — no accounts to create, no documents stored on our end, no waiting for a server to process a queue.
AISS runs on a "bring your own key" (BYOK) model. You connect your own free Gemini API key, and the app talks directly to Google on your behalf. We never see your documents, never store them, and never charge a subscription for the AI itself — because we're not the ones running it. This also means there's no server in the middle that could be breached, logged, or sold off. Your document goes from your device straight to Google and back.
Gemini does the heavy lifting as the main engine — it reads documents directly (including PDFs, visually) and produces the most detailed, nuanced summaries. Groq runs as an instant backup, powered by Llama 3.3 70B on custom chips built for speed — a genuinely capable model in its own right, not a "lesser" fallback. If Gemini is ever busy, rate-limited, or briefly unavailable, Groq quietly steps in so you're not left waiting.
